What WotsItCalled is
WotsItCalled is a free UK business directory. We list businesses using publicly available information to help people find local services. The directory is free for both visitors and business owners.
Accuracy of listings
We make reasonable efforts to keep business details accurate, but we cannot guarantee every listing is current or complete. Business information changes frequently. If you spot an error, please let us know through our Contact page and we will correct it promptly.
WotsItCalled is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any business listed. A listing does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation. Always do your own due diligence before engaging any business.
Business owners
If your business is listed, you can claim it for free and update the details. When you claim a listing, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your business information accurate and up to date
- Not using your listing to mislead customers
- Not posting offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content
- Ensuring any information you provide is truthful
We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe contains inaccurate or misleading information.
Visitors
When using WotsItCalled, you agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or systematically download business data for commercial purposes
- Attempt to disrupt the site’s operation or infrastructure
- Submit false reports, fake reviews, or misleading content
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate a business owner to claim a listing you do not own
Intellectual property
The WotsItCalled name, logo, design, and original content are our intellectual property. Business information displayed in listings belongs to the respective businesses. You may link to any page on our site but may not reproduce our content wholesale without permission.
Advertising
WotsItCalled displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense and potentially other advertising networks. We are not responsible for the content of these advertisements. If you click on an advert, you leave our site and are subject to the advertiser’s own terms and privacy policy.
External links
Business listings may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or availability of these sites. Links do not imply endorsement.
Limitation of liability
WotsItCalled is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the directory, including but not limited to: reliance on business information, interactions with listed businesses, or service interruptions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Removal requests

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
